V6 Holden Datsun Coupe

Here some pics from Warwick 6 Banger Nats & details of my mates car that I help him with.
2 door Datsun coupe
series 1 V6 Holden with approx.300000km on the motor
SC 14 Toyota blower @ 15psi boost
T5 transmisssion
Bluebird diff
26x8.5 slicks
ET 7.9 @ 86mph(1/8th)

if i am not mistaken that is the same datto that is in the latest street machine and did alright in a burnout comp ?

looks like it fits in .... just!

has it been dynod ? i'd be interested to know what sorta power they make with the sc14 and 15psi.

has anything been done to the blower ? i have heard you need to be careful spinning them too quick or the teflon coating comes off the rotors .... i have one of these blowers but never got around to doing anything with it yet!

Yes you are right, thats it in Street Machine. It is very tight, but there is still room. He had it on a dyno several months ago,but it ran lean so the operator backed off, it made 225hp @about 4000rpm. He has since fitted 010 Bosch pump, but hasn't run it since, also needs a new set of slicks since Warwick. The blower is std.

thats not bad, be interested to see the dyno once it can rev right out!
