The memory of the first post base.bin, is equal to the corsa 1.8 16v Simtec 71 or 90 with checksun 857F , in some countries can use the same memory with ECU call Simtec 90, is the same memory of vectra 1.8 16v, but in vectra has changes that you guys can compare with the memories attached.
I believe that my notes in the previous post with change rpm is right, it is interesting to experiment with memory changes with rpm and the vectra memory.
Do you know whats the difference (engine-wise) between the base file in the first post and the one from you called ecu vectra 18 b simtec 71.bin?

There are so many differencies, i tend to think there must be some serious differencies in engine hardware or fuel quality. It even seems to use a different maf sensor :wtf:

hi.

you open files with bin WINGAL by F.LLI.GALLETTO, provided by galletto 1260 software, compare files, you will see few differenças, do not know what the difference of each engine, but the software is the same with differences in ignition advance, injection in graphical comparison you will see the differences, in my opinion not very significant.

attempting to use TunerPro to make an .xdf file for the z18xe,

Anywhere to find a decent tutorial on using Tunerpro to make an xdf?

Happy to post my xdf progress however all it has is a MAF table, an RPM table which is used as a refference by other maps so it seems. and the soft and hard limiter as seen in the picture.

I uploaded eurotech's bin as a comparison and you can see the difference at the two addresses provided for rev limiter.

Building an xdf is all hard hand-work. Simply type in all maps, scalars, axis descriptors etc. :?

thats what im doing atm, I was just wanting to make sure i was using the correct xdf parameters for the correct things.

e.g A Scalar for the rev limit,

a table for rpm scalar 16x1

it all seems to be working at the moment, slowly but surely :)

I reviewed the file posted on this forum is a lot like file with vectra and base read.bin first post,
or some xdf ever developed.

Attached is the .xdf im working on at the moment.

Keep in mind its very raw as ive only just started it and im not sure what im doing.

Need to find out how to enter checksum data into it so you can make changes in tunerpro instead of winols.

Also @eurotech I changed the rev limit at the 2 addresses provided and the car still limits at 6400rpm.

Here´s a solution for the checksum ;)

Don´t hassle with integrating the checksum, its only possible after disassembling the code with IDApro and i think we aren´t at that point currently.

hi.

I understand very little mounting a xdf, is a different procedure than I am used to, but I also have difficulty in another ECU, if you guys can help me also mount a xdf for a Bosch,

I would greatly appreciate it.
