Im sure ant will spot this and chime in (and correct me if im wrong..) It isnt going to work as nvram as its not fitted with nvram, instead its fitted with eeprom (requires the use of a bench top eprom programmer, removal of that chip, etc..)
May work as a memcal replacement, but not as an nvram board. Id think hard about where this came from and please let us know.
Correct me if im wrong please...

Re: enabling write in '424' ecu
yeah need to put that chip into an eprom programmer
what you have there is effectively a memcal that you can change jumpers etc for different cars, saves you having to find a stock one to put back into a car once the tuning is done.

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: enabling write in '424' ecu
Thanx guys
I don't remember ordering eeprom thought I ordered nvram so that what I thought I had in the car the whole time. I only took the Ecuador out the other day to solder in the write wire and then tried to make some changes. Obviously that didn't happen lol
Anyway I'll try get my hands on NVram and try again. At least I have a spare haha
