New True Willem GQ-3x

Post by VX L67 Getrag »

Hey All,

Trying to write to nv ram for the first time on my new true usb willem & keep getting this problem;

Elapsed time: 0.12 seconds.
Write failed, Address=0x000000, Buffer=0x00 Device=0x0A
Write failed

Do I have to change the start address, file offset or device offset(straigth out of working on the bin in tuner pro 5?)

Umm, No I didn't as I don't know what that is?
There just the dallas ds1245Y, I ended up turning on the old computer & used the old programmer, but would be good to get the true usb working to save doing it! :sad2:

is the ds timekeeper chip just the brand & version of the chip?

If so yes I did, there's just 1 ds1245y -100, but if there's any other settings I can't find them?

It's strange that it programmed fine in my old skool memprogL ok?

I still need to figure out how to use the OSE plugin properly too, but thats for another thread & I'll have a bit more of a play too!

OK have to admit, it was user error!

My old programmer had chips go in with no.1 pin at the end opposite handle for securing so that was how I was loading them, but now I'm putting the chips in the right way it's all good!
