Thanks Doc, I spoke with Les the other day who was very helpful, yet we were unable to get to the bottom of it. He was happy for me to mail the unit back to him for a check (VIC to NSW) but I still think it's a setting or software compatibility issue. When I installed the Elnec software it recognised the individual serial number of my MemprogL so it's talking on some level but just not getting the job done.

ok cool i have only dealt with Grant
my Memprog2 shit the tin about a month after i got it
wouldnt come out of sleep mode
he replaced it no problems
what other programmers do you have?

That's all I have as I'm fairly green. I purchased the software por personal use but of course a few mates are keen and the beers are flowing so I'd like to help them out as it gives me an opportunity to learn at the same time.

A mate with a MemprogL bought in 2000 has emailed me his software so that may be compatible because it seems that mine which was produced in 2008 according to the Q.C. sticker doesn't like anything I try to do with or to it :director:
