The UnObtanium came home from PickAPart today ;
Its pretty good, so will give it block back and fix up a few bits and pieces in it, then jam it in H-OneHundredAndFiftyFour favorite silver.

Re: Gregs Fleet
oh. i don't know that one VSH.
did some CAD lastnight - cardboard aided design - to make a Pod Filter airbox
it became WAD this morning - Wood Aided Design. Jury is out as to whether i do this in Fibreglass or Sheetmetal. I think the latter will get the nod.

Its my nephew's vp with the usual VSH basic mods. He got a landcruiser recently and said I can buy it for cheap to use it for 24 lemons.

I have a MACE unit on the VX (looks very similar to what you have) but it turns out something I used in the engine bay doesn't like the product they used and it went brittle and broke where it was sprayed. I suspect it was engine degreaser.
On my old VN I made one from alloy but instead of putting a lid on it I just had it go all the way up to the bonnet and had a seal running around the top of it to seal it when the bonnet was closed. If I ever do another I think I will do the same again.
I miss that car, was a really good drivers car with the 5 speed in it

Re: Gregs Fleet
Work today. Fix the passenger side speaker in the door. Fixed the tweeter in the dash.
I got a 6 stacker for next to nothing so plugged that in, didn't do much of anything. Took it apart, cleaned the "Laser" --> 1 million dollars --> and it now plays. It distorts sometimes however which tells me the alignment of the "Laser" might not be quite right. But it plays which is > 0 which it did before.
OH started sanding the unobtanium VX Berlina/Calais front bar as well ready for paint. That is a thing as well.
