Late ve-vf v6 e39 controller info
Not sure if anyone has opened 1 of these up?
Anyway I damaged this 1 by powering it up using the V8 e38 harness accidentally so have damaged parts by sending power to wrong circuits so if anyone can spot anything damaged by eye it'd be great & then also wouldn't mind knowing how to setup the bdm/jtag for it also!

Top right, 10pin looks like the header pad to get onto.
As for whats burnt out.. nothing is really standing out. CPU itself could have been burnt out.

Thats pretty cool, will ask you in email.... although I've put these in completely different vehicles without unlinking just with the key on, key off procedure & don't even need to use scan tool or anything!

The problem here is obvious, it isn't an ECU but a worm maker model 5,000,000, made in Finland.
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.

Yeah whats with that? Is that some kind of coating that leaked through the VIAs from the other side in manufacture and dried like that, or is that literally worms or worm things that decided it was a cosy place to camp?
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396
