wow sure did a number on that gasket!

in the past I've just done the old spring change, and that works fine, but is a definite pain where my wastegate was located ....

in the FX the wastegate i got only has ability to have one spring in it at a time (7 or 14psi), so i plan to run the 14psi spring then use a delco flex table controlled solenoid to increase it from there, i don't know how well it will work but hoping it will be good enough. For me its more about being able to back off boost at certain points, ie. at the start line then feed it in later etc ....

I bought one of the turbotech manual boost controllers. I reckon it’s a 9psi spring so shouldn’t be too hard to get 10 which is what I am aiming for at the moment.

Had a day off today and got it all back together

Sounds shit via the phone mic, it’s much deeper in real life. I didn’t want to rev it as I need to change the oil.

Sounds nice. This project has come a long way. The idle sounds a little high.

Yeah, the tunes not complete after fitting the 42lb injectors. Too much fuel among other things at idle. It will be back to the Dyno eArly May.

Took it for a spin today and the power is awesome. When the boost kicks in it, far out. Only took it up to 5psi because the tuner didn’t get far with the tune before it spat the head gasket. Just cannot imagine what it will be like at 10 PSI. farkin love it. :punk:

The only thing wrong with boost is your foot loves it but the cops don't. Enjoy and be careful.
