If the engine flooded it's all the more reason to squirt some oil in the cylinders to gain full compression. The more you crank the worse it gets.

I’ve got it running nicely now and will post a vid soon. Now to finish hooking up the power steering pump and complete the floor shift install and I’ll be able to take it out on the road again and bed in the rings. Cheers

Idling nicely now, put the ecu in diagnostic mode and set the timing to 10 degrees BTDC as is the base timing set in the tune.

this is cold start without touching anything and it is cold here at the moment.

Took the Ute out for a spin with the new electric pump power steering set up and freaking amazing. Lots of feel, not like the stock setup and once the pump has done its initial start up it quietens down. also the box in tight and not a big bucket of slop like the old manual box was. Feels like a completely different car

The pumps off a TS Astra and I got it off a wrecker from eBay, it came with the bracket and the high pressure hose and hard line. I cut the line and welded on an AN fitting. I found an AN fitting that fitted the ps box and connected it with braided hose. I just used the stock valiant low pressure hose.

The wiring is simple, main power cable and earth and then there are three other small wires, black and green go to ignition and the brown wire can be left but I am hoping it is a for speed v pressure adjustment that can be run via a flex table. I haven’t been able to find confirmation of this yet though.
