12P Rev Limiter

Post by v6bucket »

I've got a problem with the rev limiter coming on early in a 12P tune. The limiter is set at 6000rpm in the scalars, but appears to operating around 5800. The engine has had fuel pump, coils, leads, cas, dfi module replaced chasing this issue. Is there anything else in the 12P bin that affects the limiter? This tune has been used previously without any issues, but I was making some minor adjustments & discovered that the limiter was set at 6500,which I corrected to 6000. I can't find in my notes why it was at 6500 & I don't remember altering it, the tune has been converted from a v111 to v112.

Theres 4 settings I think, theres the upper number, for both hard and soft cut, and the amount below that number it triggers. Soft pulls timing, hard is full cut. Probably you've set the upper limit to 6000 but with a 200 value here.

Thanks antus, it had 100 in that position, which I have now set at 0 & .13 for the multipler, 0 Ign retard, 0 Advance reduction.
