XDF for OS 12216125

Post by LOUDMOUTHWS6 »

I am hoping someone has an XDF for this OS. I have attached a bin, common flex fuel bin for us LS1 guys running the P01. I am working on a flex fuel friendly OS that doesnt have any dash lights on when you shove it into an fbody. So far so good other than a TCS light.

At the end of the day I have swapped some segments but I am trying to figure out how to recalculate the checkum of the system segment as it is giving me trouble. I realize its CRC16 but I dont quite understand where it is located in the file. The xdf I figured would just recalculate it for me if I had the right one.

Use this XDF and plugin to to calculate it viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3845
Its a different OS so dont edit any data, but it can and will calculate the os segment(s) sum. Its not a crc-16 its a 16bit sum, and there are 3 areas which are counted one after the other for the total value. You have my permission to include the checksum plugin with your xdf when you have one. To see how its calculated see the source code in the the thread.
