Re: Replace Flash PCM With VX/VY S/C PCM
So I’ve just made my conversation loom wondering why I’m missing the PRND321 wires on my harness... guess this is why!psyolent wrote:god damn. you really have to want to do this.
note ; if you are going to use in a later model (like vx) get the ECU plugs from a vt berlina or calais ... as they have things like the PRND321 indicators
In addition to the grey wire being left I’m left with 2 other wires:
B10 (light green)
E9 (pink)
Will I have any issues with those 2 wires being left out?

Correct B10 is Map input but only for a Kalmaker bin. On the factory VT B10 is for EGROZ38 wrote:Not sure but thought B10 was for running MAP ?
E9 is one of the wires in the 4 pin PRND321 plug
Re: Replace Flash PCM With VX/VY S/C PCM
A question regarding the spreadsheet for Flash to S/C PCM conversion. For example with Flash PCM pin A1 to S/C PCM does that mean the wire is doubled up for pin C13 and C14?
Thanks
Thanks

This might explain it a bit better for you.
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Yes, that pic explains it well. Thank you
Re: Replace Flash PCM With VX/VY S/C PCM
yep the 2 lines are multiple on other pcm and single on the other which are the same thing.
Re: Replace Flash PCM With VX/VY S/C PCM
Would it be easier to re-pin for the '396 PCM or make up the patch harness?
