I'm using an Arduino mega with this code, which I got from PeteS:

I think he might have gotten it from another user here but I don't recall for sure.
It doesn't support 4x, but it's been great for everything else. It's tied into my bench harness.
The ScanTool devices have an "ATM" command for monitoring but I haven't used it much.
