Was quite underwhelmed for there normal quality of work but I guess finding parts over there would be tricky still looks good but not quite as slick as normal

Really? I thought the zinc plating was great (except the end colour choice)
According to chemistry, alcohol is a solution...
Re: BINKY tomorrow
I kind of thought the same thing to begin with, particularly looking at the pitting on some of the suspension parts. However on reflection it gels with what appears to be their philosophy of not over-engineering things - some of the brackets and metal fabrication is great because they haven't just welded in a massive chunk of thick walled RHS where a folded piece of sheet metal will do just fine for a fraction of the weight. I'm pretty sure they do actually plan to drive it too, they've thought a lot about practical considerations including how to easily remove and maintain parts later on (must admit I'm bad for making things that are hard to maintain). The grey colour is very race-car, function over form.delcowizzid wrote:Was quite underwhelmed for there normal quality of work but I guess finding parts over there would be tricky still looks good but not quite as slick as normal

A lot of work just in that rear subframe. No wonder this project has taken so long.
