More progress with the tailgate
Re: 265 Hemi to efi
Spent lots of time blocking this rear quarter but I reckon it’s pretty straight now
Skim coat of Filler blocked down with 80 grit and guide coated.
Guide coat blocked back with 120 on the big block.
Polyester hifill primer which will be blocked with 180

Thanks, yes it’s a VH Charger. I will be starting back on it again once the Ute looks a bit more respectable. It will be running a 360 and 727 trans.v6bucket wrote:Looking good. Is that a Charger in the background?

Na leave it std. Love those durablock sanders. They seem to get a good line.

I do have a rebuilt Carter 4 barrel and new 4 barrel manifold already so may stick with that for this project.Charlescrown wrote:Na leave it std. Love those durablock sanders. They seem to get a good line.
Yeah the Durablock's rock, especially the real big one although it kills your arms. I went back over the same area with the large block that I had finished with the smaller block and picked up a number of new low spots.
