I don’t think you can really knock these engines out of timing.
Are you sure spark plug leads are on the right plugs & coils?

Re: PCM questions regarding L67 Swap into VY
yeah i looked up the correct firing order and made sure the leads were on the right coils and in order
Drivers side - 2/4/6
Passenger side - 1/3/5
I was talking to someone who started going on about the timing and saying you have probably knocked it a tooth or 2 out of timing and it has just gotten me thinking about it ever since.

Re: PCM questions regarding L67 Swap into VY
Unless you’ve done a cam change and mucked it up or somehow fitted the harmonic balancer/toothed wheel incorrectly there’s not much else it can be unless the crank and/or cam sensor are faulty or a faulty DFI module.
Check coil end matches the plugs as per image here

I’ve mucked up on a stock Ecotec before mixing up 2 leads as they run under the alternator.

A bit late back to this thread, yes you dont need oseplugin on the flash pcm. At the time I was thinking we had a Memcal PCM with an NVRAM. That was a mistake on part - sorry! Im glad you got it figured out.
