isa this just the V8 cal that has the issue or what ? and is it just $12S that has the issue ..... i've never had any issues when running $12S on the ecotec with high rpm pinging ......

It will affect every cal, only above 4800RPM will it be a problem.

interesting, my logs haven't shown the advance spiking over 4800 rpm at all

the slope on the v6's is only set to 2 deg anyway, you only notice the problem on a v8 coz on the v8's it usually has bugger all timing at 4800 and the slope set to 10 deg per 1000rpm.

did a check, was displaying 1 degrees / 1k rpm and after changing the calc its displaying 3.52 degrees / 1k rpm :)

so pretty much i get another 3.5 degrees after the spark table stops .... cause i only get about 5600-5700 out of the ecotec.

ok people, for those that already have the zip file in the first post you might want to download it again as it has an updated XDF in it .... most stuff is the same as the original XDF however i have added some of the other lean cruise settings, fixed a few equations and also re-ordered some stuff to have the similar things grouped together and stuff like that .....

at this stage ose $12s v1.01 is the latest.
