its worth noteing to run the factory supercharged tune not the normally aspirated as thats just as easy. hardware is the same (including the maf)

ohh alright, well i wouldnt mind just getting the computer changed over to manual and running the 10 psi pulley on the stock tune, its alot less hassel and will be a massive improvement over the stock vp engine anyway. any idea how much it would cost to get my computer ticked to manual ? and so your saying i can pull my entire loom out and replace it with the L67 loom and it will all work the same ? because as i have a calais i have the level 3 cluster setup like the statesman the engine is out of.

getting the engine to run is easy, there are just a few wires to manually hook up tho as I dont think it is a plug in job. interfacing to the dash is harder. to get the level3 cluster working I have a feeling youd need to put the bcm and dash out of whatever model car the engine came out of.
what model car is the engine from? VS, VT, VX? I can post you a memcal, $50 changeover.

i would of thought they would work as they are the same tho ? both clusters are level 3. i dont mind if my speedo and revs dont work, kinda need fuel and temp tho.
i will be pulling it from a vs statesman. and sounds like you have a deal with the computer

yeah I only mean the little digital screen at the bottom wont work. revs, speedo, fuel, temp, can be made to work fine.

yeah the dist to empty wont work, im not an expert in this area, other members might want to correct me but I think that distance to empty screen works different from VP > VS. VP uses a signal wire with a square wave pulse whereas VS uses the aldl data.

ohwell that doesnt really bother me than just aslong as the basic's work. so i have an old vp computer sitting in my room the auto one from my car. could i send you that one and you map that to the manual l67 tune or does it have to be an l67 computer ?

VS still uses a PWM signal for the trip computer but its got double the resolution. It should be just a matter of adjusting that in the VS L67 bin, have never tried it though.
