You need to identify the bin you wish to open, then get the matching XDF, then in tunerpro load the xdf, (which will give you a list of items you will be able to change, then load the bin from the pc. You can get most factory tunes from bin files thread, and the xdfs from the xdf file thread. If you want to do custom efi on engines you build, get ose12p which includes some sample bin files, xdfs and adxs. Use that with holden 202s guide.

Might be a silly question but are you unzipping th file before trying to open them in Tunerpro? If not right click on the zipped file you downloaded and select "extract all". the file extention you required are *.bin and *.xdf

if right click doesn't work try double clicking the file, if its zipped it should open in winzip

Some things on this site are bins and others zips, only need to extract the zips.

Download the ZIP called "OSE_12P V111.zip" here.. https://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=356
Extract the zip somewhere on your computer, take note of where.
Open TP V5
Under 'File' select open bin and navigate to where you extracted the 12P package. There will be a folder called bin, double click it and open up the BLCF bin in that folder (not the one with stacked in the name)
Now under 'XDF' select 'Select XDF' and navigate to the XDF folder also where you extracted the 12P package. Open the OSE 12P V111 xdf

You should now be able to view and edit the contents of the bin

This tool is very handy for having bins and XDFs together .. https://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=905

This book is quite in depth, but well written and as you have a good background with tuning carbs this book can explain the what and why of efi tuning. Its allready been mentioned in this thread but its such a great resource I thought i'd mention it again. Its worth having a copy on the shelf to refer back to as you go and take the concepts on board.
