Keep the conversion information coming. I'm really interested in doing this to my HR that's currently running VK injection. Albeit I haven't sorted out what I'll do for the tuning side of things....

A bit of an update. I started fitting the injection gear to the UC this week, here's a few pics.
I had to add some O2 sensor bungs & move the secondary pipes on the extractors, as they were to close the the trans. So while they were off, I had my mate media blast them then painted them with heat proof paint to make them look a bit better.

Just need to hook up the fuel pump & fit some relays & connect a few wires, which will happen today then I can fire it up & start tuning. :driving:

Fuel pump & relays hooked up, ready to start.
I had the engine running last Friday, played with the tune a little, then been helping a mate out for a few days. So today I played some more with the tune.
I've adjusted the IAC about 15/20 steps, seems ok. At this stage I haven't got the narrow band sensor hooked up, I ordered one without the plug  , so I'm waiting for a plug to arrive. Now to tune the thing. :driving:
I probably should now move to the General Tuning section, so I can straighten the tune out.

This is the the bin that I started with, but I used a different spark map, as this engine has 11:1 compression it has issues with pinging, so I tried to replicate the the timing that was used with the dizzy/carby set up.

At this stage the following bin appears to have it running ok, but I haven't driven it on the the road.

This is a short log that I done yesterday. You'll notice that when the throttle is moved, that it has a large lean spike, then very rich. If you look closely you can see that the TPS is reading "0" yet the throttle has moved giving a dead spot. I've adjusted the TPS on the bolts but no change. When I had this on the set up motor none of this showed up. The "coolant temp" also shows higher on this engine using the same sensors, so maybe there is something else that I've missed.

youll notice you have 2 error codes... CTS voltage high and TPS voltage low. look at the TPS volts in the log, they dont move at all..... the tps % you can see moving in the log is the default TPS that the ecu is failing over to and is calculated off the map sensor...
id be re checking wiring to the CTS and TPS, get rid of the error codes, then it should work ok again.

Thanks Jayme, I checked the logs that I've done on the test engine & the "TPS voltage low" shows up on there as well, but the "CTS voltage high" isn't.
I checked the wiring, nothing appears to be out of place. What voltage should I have coming from the D2 terminal at the ECU where the TPS & CTS connect to? I currently have 0 volts checking between D2/earth, & battery voltage between D2/power supply. I have continuity from the sensor plugs to the D2 terminal, so no breaks there. I'm using a VP Commodore loom, 808 ecu & only terminated engine fan & A/C wiring. I've also tried another ecu with memcal fitted.

if the wiring is ok, have you tried a different tps?

I'll try to borrow a TPS to try today, as I don't think I have a spare.
