yeah i was going to suggest MTX-L if you wanted a gauge, in simple terms the LC-1 is like the gaugeless version of an MTX-L

well it sounds like even better value then, cause it was about $240 when it first came out!!

It might be worth your while to have a look at the WBo2 2J2/9/P Wideband Unit (2011) from Tech Edge - Tech Edge's economy, single-channel, entry level wideband controller. This controller will allow you to send the output to the ECM and to a seperate Lambda meter. They also have some other pretty interesting stuff and they are based in Canberra.

I looked at those when I was buying my WB recently and would have preferred to support an australian company, but the 14point7 kit was half the price of that one so I went with that instead.
It was a kit though, not a pre-assembled unit which would count for some of the price difference.

i think in this case with WB controllers is more important to look for a well known and high quality unit, even if it is not australian ....

mind you im not saying the cheaper ones arn't good, but its one of those things that you need to have right or its going to end up torching your motor!

eg. the guy i took my car to for dyno said he had a guy with some you beautis wideband installed in the car, it was nearly 1 point out ..... so he tuned it with his dyno sensor in the tail pipe, did a power run, then tuned it to the guys sensor and did a power run, there was about 10hp difference and the car ran like crap on the guys sensor readings ..... so its worth making sure you have a good unit.

also on that note, dynos are often a good way to compare widebands, do a run and see if your agrees with the dynos! the dyno operator said my MTX-L was always within .1 of his dyno sensor so i was pretty happy with that!

Thanks fellas but I bought the innovate one, up and running now.
The output wire from the wb that goes to the ecu, for the v8 it's different.
Can some one give me a detailed run down on what I should do here?
