Been having a play with the tune on this, got the fueling just under 12 on my wideband but i havnt set up the proper things in the adx so its a bit off. Having problems with lots of knock, the motor doesnt sound like its nocking but its pulling timing back to 1' advance. Does anyone know if i can move it to the other side of the motor away from the dump pipe or is there something else you can sudgest? Cheers

Im afraid i dont have time at the moment to look at your logs, but your very lucky you have not destroyed your engine with your approach. You need to keep the boost right down, make sure everything is accurate and working correctly, make sure your timing and fuel curves are safe, and be smart about what your doing. Pumping 18psi in to a random tune your engine is not going to last very long at all and might explode dangerously the very next time you try it. Stay stafe.

i wouldnt trust the wideband reading in the log too much going off the narrowband volts and the knock its really lean

The bin file looks like a bad read or something too - other than the data being all wrong it should also be 32K in size for 12P. Can use either the flashtool or TunerPro and read it out that way instead of using a eprom programmer and removing the NVRAM board each time.

woops wrong bin file lol yeah 18psi is mad the dyno guy just kept goin till we told him to bak it off. question is how to adjust the boost level down. its internal wastegate accuator?

sounds like the internal gate is either not big enough to bleed off boost or not connected to the right part of the engine to reference the right boost levels ???

Antus we didnt set out to run 18psi, we did some low load stuff and ect first it was just the bloke on the dyno desided he was going to flatten it and not pay any attention to what the car was doing, i was in the passanger seat banging on his arm well before it got to that much boost...

If your sure its not real knock then you need to use the knock logging feature and see where its knocking how much and set it up to ignore that much knock. Just dont be wrong about it, it might be false, but also the ecu will see knock before you hear it from the cabin. If I were you i'd pull 5 degrees from the whole boost spark table and get your fuelling right, then add it back in later. If you have a dyno hold it in one cell as best you can (can be hard) and re add the spark degree by degree and watch the torque output on the dyno. Aim for best torque, you'll see it start dropping off just before it knocks and you can see how far out the ballpark you are and use that information to avoid giving it too much advance.

Were going to wrap the nock sensor and put a sheild around it it check the dump pipe for clearance before we go back out just to be sure. That and fix the chinese wastegate. So drop all the timing and just slowly bring it up in a few different cells and just smooth in the rest you reckon? And with the knock ignore what is that called in the xdf?
Also how do i go setting up the xdf to suit my 14point7 wideband? Cheers
