a pic of the cut off tb mount.
i cut a piece out of the lid on an ecotec manifold.
my weapons of choice. a henrob torch and some 203 flux.
the result. when it cools i'll clean it off. i'm fairly new to using the henrob. it hasn't been too bad though.

so fixed up a few small leaks. i reckon i'll use a camira tb instead. i'll cut the flange off the camira manifold and use it. for alloy tube, i ended up finding an old receiver drier. it's 54mm inside with 3mm wall thickness. should be about right. just got to get it all trimmed and cut up.

painting the manifold is a good way to fix small leaks too

did some more to this today. fucked about and made a tb mount then attached it. just waiting for some aluminium burrs so i can finish off the cleanup. i reckon some sort of brace from the tb mount back to the plenum won't hurt either. next step is to fit it to the adaptor plate and head. pics.

did a bit more today. started drilling and tapping the required holes for holding the manifold to the adaptor. when i get a bit further along, i'll put up some pics.
