setting up a TBI delco system
Re: setting up a TBI delco system
I've been doing some testing with TBI on a chryrsler 318. Im using the $12s cal with a camira TBI memcal, the engine runs pretty good and it accelerates ok however i think that the extra work to go multipoint would definitly be worthwhile, I plan on doing this when I get some spare time. I seen a carby manifold with injector bosses pressed & glued with epoxy resin, seems like an easy option to me!

arrr now there is something i did not think of
you is the man
now to find a to find some one that will tig weld for beer

EDIT.
just whent out and had a bit of a look and well bang
the EGR valve is in the way on runners for 1 and 2
would there be any problems running the injectors upside down
as from what i can see there is the room from the underside of the manifold

Re: setting up a TBI delco system
injectors have 30-40 psi up their bums they don't care what way you locate them!!
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

seen it done on a 308 manifold with port injected NOS
spraying the fuel upstream (facing plenum) can help atomisation in some applications especially batchfire that spend a lot of time shooting at a closed intake valve
Build it, Race it, Break/Bend it ; Repeat.
