I'm just getting back into tuning after a few years off. All I know is SP3 untill now I'm setting up again with Tuner Pro 5 RT with $12P and modified ecu with VL400's hardware.
Although I haven't done any real time tuning yet this software looks promising. Feature packed like Kalmaker including closed throttle ve and data tracing while tuning in real time.
Descriptions are in English with minimal abbreviations, logs and maps are in colour.
I'm a complete amateur and this forum provides plenty of support and is more active than the Kalmaker forum, not to knock Kalmaker it's great software and does offer support just that it's getting outdated. I'm sure if there was a Street Pro 4 released they would become more popular again.

the major difference is the fact 12p isnt tuned with a DOS program LOL i love nice pretty coloured TP5 graphs
and you can run new laptops instead of 30 year old dinosaurs

TP is written in Visual C++ so will work on windows 8 or 7 tablets but wont work on other types. Bluetooth and wifi has been done for ALDL though.

It works on the full Windows 8 and 7 tablets (there might even be XP ones too?). Dont think it will work on Windows 8 RT or phones...
