when your testing, try taking the map jumper off. then turn the ignition on but dont start the car so that the pcm is powered up and but the engine is not running. then if your hand is steady try bridging the map pins with a screwdriver and see if the light comes on then. If it does then you might be able to bend the pins at fraction away from each other to make tighter contact when the jumper is on them and that might solve it. It wont take much.

And just to be safe remove the rw jumper before starting anything.

Thanks ill try that tomorrow, it fires on 1 or 2 cylinders with that ecu buts rns ok wth a stock ecu. It won't connect with laptop either atm so no log.
