out of interest what maf sensor you using? the card maf for instance will handle 20 - 25psi with a cam.
I'm pretty sure the version of kalmaker you run will determine where the MAP sensor gets wired into
Whats your setup.
Like The1 said you can run different MAF to give you more head room
