Haha your right there.
Also to make things even better the vx and vy v6 changed from h to a on the vin.
Can tell you these models had f for the ls1 as well.

Re: Engine VIN-RPO Codes
The VE and later stuff is getting complicated as they changed engines several times. LY7 started of with a VIN code of 7, but then this was also used in later VE LPG vehicles when they moved to SIDI.
Anyway, below is what I've been able to workout from some info I had and a number of ebay searches of vehicles and VIN's.
From VT to VX/WH Model Year 2002

Re: Engine VIN-RPO Codes
Im pretty sure ls1 was available up to 2006 in the vz. 1mbit pcm, with electronic throttle. Not just up to 2004 as you've got above. My mate bought a 2007 vz crewman and had to find an 07 to get the 6.0. (They trialed it for 6 months in the vz before bringing out the ve, except they discontinued the crewman at that point)
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396

Re: Engine VIN-RPO Codes
I thought it was 05 had the LS1 and 06 had the 6Ltr .... but it might have been different in the crewman too

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!
