Im going to be doing some logging on a race car with an 808 and V6 soon.
Any good ideas where to fit the signal earth for my wide band?
Heater ground could go to the battery along with the positive for the heater?

Signal earth to the ECU earth, D6 would be fine for that. Heater earth to battery or chassis somewhere. Could even use one of the other noisy ECU earth connections for the heater.

yeah that's what I did with mine on the ecotec 808 loom, heater ground to closest earth, then positive from the coil pack power, and the two sensor wires to the ecm as stated above.

Sounds like a good set up, signal wire and signal earth to ecu should get some good readings.

yeah I had a wideband in the car for tuning, but I always saw good cross counts when logging it!

Off topic, but another question regarding using a VR loom with 808. VR diagram shows the negative of 4 injectors going to C15, with the other 4 going to C16 separately? VN diagram shows the injector negatives joined before the ECU but still going to two different ecu pins. Do I need to join the two negative wires together or is it done internally by the ECU anyway?

Does the 808 fire 4 injectors at a time or just pump all 8 at once? My old Vn loom seems to have all injector negatives joined together in the loom.

Fires 8 at once.
