You need to homebrew your own https://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewto ... ver#p49282

Not terribly complicated.

A mate of mine put a T56 in a VK. He didn't want to wire in the solenoid so he fitted a weak spring in place.
It stills offers enough resistance but easy enough to engage when you do want it.

I can get some better info of you're interested. I wasn't involved in that part.

Thanks for the tip mate but I'd like to keep the solnoid as it's basically wired up already I just have to program it and even at the moment I'm just physically overriding it and it's not that bad to use, it's probably no harder than getting an old aussie 4 speed into reverse, thanks for the tip thouh

I know of a few guys who are hooking the T56 Reverse Lock-Out Solenoid up to their brake light switch. Seem to work ok like this for them.

Although every braking move has the solenoid working I suppose.

Cheers

handbrake switch would be a better choice imo

Sorry guys, flex output wins, engages when under 8 k's like stock and easy to do ! Why compromise ?

For that application you can switch a regular relay, no need for the expensive ssr as its not for speed control using pwm.

Others have used one of these from JayCar.

better still, flex table to engage under 8kph and below certain revs :)
