Man it even gets better Hot Inazma System gotta be one of the best for that much money. Had a bloke trying to sell Brock Polarizers so I invited him to do a demo on the dyno. Not one iota extra bit of power and I was accused of deliberately fudging the results. Must admit it was a very old dyno and it may have made a mistake in the readings. Ha

Back to the original device, its in the same category as piggy back computers. Im sure it can open the injector at the same time as the original signal comes in, and it could measure the stop time, and attempt to increase the flow to deliver the right amount of fuel for E85. It wouldnt need a coolant sensor, because the original computer would be taking temperature in to account. But it should have a flex fuel sensor so it can determine the correct amount of extra fuel required as a percentage. The other problem is it does nothing for your engines timing, so you cant cant tune spark for the slower (I assume?) burn time of E85. This would loose much of the advantage.

The fuel side problems would be - dead time. It'd need to know how much of the original signal was dead time, so that it can only extend the part of the signal where fuel was flowing the correct amount. So injector type / dead time should be programmable. Most LPG piggy back computers dont have dead time, but do have a 2D table for original opening time and new opening time so that a curve (which would take in to account dead time) can be programmed to suit. Its just a pitty many LPG workshops never touch that table... but thats another story.

The other issues come to light when you put it on a stock car (Their target market). Most factory injectors dont have enough head room to flow more fuel, so you'd likely go lean at WOT. Also you'd want to make sure your fuel hoses etc can handle E85 because if they cant and they perish you risk engine bay fires. So by the time you upgrade all that to E85 spec, install larger injectors and then program your regular computer for the injector change you might as well just do the E85 fuel and spark in the original computer as well for far better results. Even if you cant support a flex sender and rely on the ECUs fuel trims to handle different mixtures you'll still be in a far better place.
