its fine if you use it on a VS TB as its the right rotation for the sensor! its only a problem if you put a VS one on another TB!

I don't know about the VN to VS TPS but certainly the VS V6 is different to the V8.

Cheers guys. I picked up a throttle body from a VT yesterday as they are the same as the VS, and it looked like it hadn't been sitting for too long. Also got the ignition gear off an N13 pulsar. Trips to the wreckers are fun! :D
Also for those blokes who are in brisbane the capalaba pick n pull wrecking yard is closing soon in the next couple of months, so get in whilst you can.

Hey Holden202T, when fitting the MAT sensor (where the egr valve is) how did you rip out the egr pipe in the manifold? did you use a dremel or does it come out if you give it a tap and some force?

Pretty sure I just drilled it out till I was through the pipe and into the alloy, but I can't remember the size needed for tapping the thread

you don't actually need a JE loom, you can use a VN/VP V6 commodore loom and just modify it to suit, but the JE loom is less work if you can find one.
