Yeah and no m8. I've spent the last year or 2 on it, which has been hard on me kids an wife. At the moment I'm not sure if I'll keep it after I finish or sell swap it for a work truck.

no power steering I see what rack it is you are using? any reason why you did away with the power steer?

It's a brand new genuin vl manual rack, I had to change the vl tie rods to the vr ones to make it fit. The reason it has no power steering, heater, a/c or anything it doesn't need is it's a street registered drag car m8. When building this car the build was simple. Pick a base model car, remove anything that wasn't needed to run the quarter mile and try make as much hp and torque as possible.

that is the key to going fast more power less weight. I never new the vl rack fitted when I put the turbo on my vl v8 I used a ts astra electric power steering pump to get the hoses and pump away from the heat of the exhaust manifold and it was cheaper than replacing the leaking mechanical pump.
