if your converting a car from pump to e85. simplest method is to just reduce your injector flow rate table by 35% and see how close it is and make adjustments from there.

easiest yes, not the most correct way to do it though ;)

you'd also want to increase the flow rate by 35% not reduce it.

Going slightly off topic, has anyone used a flex sensor or got a factory flex sensor vehicle?

I have U98 in the tank and its showing 5% ethanol. Its not had ethanol in the tank yet and was 100% drained and cleaned out during painting. This is the first lot of fuel thats been in since all that. Just wondering if they are starting to blend even U98 now?

Try running through some mineral terps to the sensor and see if it reads 0 or some percentage ethanol just to verify the sensor. There might be small amounts of enthanol in premium petrol as part of the formula. I know United 95 rated fuel is made via addition of enthanol as it works so well as octane booster. It is what it is. Poor mans premium lol. They do t sell anything as "95 premium" but when I asked specs on their e10 it's rates 95 and 91 for the pure ulp

Yep, tried that to confirm the sensor and code was working correctly. Was reading 0 to 1% with turps. Will try a different brand of fuel and see if there is a difference.

What brand of fuel? I wouldn't de surprised there is some ethanol in 98 as a cleaner or some other property that's desirable.

Try BP, I have had the best result with their fuel.
