ImageFound pics of vh sle several years before I got it...here it is Summernats 21.

Unfortunately rear main seal let go & couldn't fix in time so rego ran out...to get registered have to change car back to how it was when first engineered & few other things.

The lc gtr is at panelbeater getting rust & damage repair...this will be a very long term build.

Might start thread or do a search what others have done.

Ok will try to dig up pics & storyline but will be all jumbled up as had 101 things going on at same time when got back into car stuff 18 months maybe 2 years ago.

Alll started when cousin who was a panelbeater decades ago started doing private work told him if he didn't want to repair the cars I'll sell everything off when I hit 50.. needed a deadline so choose that lol.

Started with sending him the bitsa vk...then getting it back as totally different car.

The bitsa vk got repaired quicker than expected & wiped out my savings as at same time was contacted by engine builder who I'd lost touch with...similar theme we build something or everything collected & hoarded will be sold/traded or tossed.

Loaded up a 9x6 trailer & my ute chock full of parts then we decided what to keep & sold off whatever was not needed...took 4 short blocks & 60thou over reco'd 308.

Hence junker 308 & big banger 355 engine builds

Had already committed to building the 2 engines above & started to compile all collected long blocks/complete engines plus parts ready for trip to Canberra where engine builder was situated.

Had also started to sell off parts not needed to help fund all this...guessing 18 months or so back.

Further back around 2010 probably earlier decided to step away from retrotech theme to build it into tough streeter...it all turned to shite lost interest in the car but was too sentimental to let it go.

Long story of shit going wrong the torrie got buried away while I lost interest in building cars.

Spotto red v8 lc gtr

Started selling off parts & getting rid of whatever was not needed found a damaged almost forgotten torrie hidden in there...

Took a good month to clear garage out enough that you could see concrete floor & actually walk around the cars.
