What type of memcal chip is in a VS-II Commodore V6

Holden/Delco Tuning. ALDL, OBD 1.5. Circa 1989 to 2004.

Hey Jayme,

That's a damn interesting thought. When I used to live with my dad years back we'd often go to this scrap metal pile at the local tip scrounging for computer components and mainboards to build up PC's for our network and all. It was totally amazing the stuff we'd find there. Often came across good P4's and AMD 64bit systems. Often also found older stuff. If I knew those chips would be handy now I probably would have scrounged up a few. Dad sometimes goes there still in search of mainboards for these systems so I might tell him to keep an eye out for me. It's amazing the stuff that some people throw out.

I was reading somewhere some time ago about someone using a dual bios computer mother board to write tunes with instead of an eprom programmer

yeah its a shame i have thrown out main old machines in my time before i was into tuning!
