Antus I don't know why my machine can't run 64 bit but I tried to load it and it can't do it so there must be something that it doesn't like. My machine is probably 10 to 12 years old but still going strong. Gampy what I see makes no sense to me as I am really illiterate when it comes to computer language. I still have a laptop running the program under windows 7 so for the amount of time I use it I'll just have to be happy doing it that way till I'm forced to upgrade everything.
You are right Gampy, they copy pasted the line, and commented the first, and modified something unrelated. And I just checked my own copy of the win10 driver and see 32 and 64 bit files exist, with the same filenames. I havnt tested it, but I stand corrected - it does appear to have both.
Whats the CPU specs under properties when right clicking computer?
I'm wondering if it might me an intel Atom, pretty sure they were the last commonly configured as 32 bit modernish CPU, even though they did support 64 for the most part as I understand.

That would make sense, they were limited to 2G max ram, so 32 bit was more suitable for them. And if it was a windows 7 32bit upgrade to win 10.. then that could be it.
Reading on wiki, it says certain atom CPUs were not supporting 64 due to lack of drivers or implementation at the bios level even though the CPU itself did support it, kinda a cost cutting thing since atom was bottom of the barrel tier garbage CPUs.
intel and OEMs never bothered making drivers or bios for for of them so windows 64 is unable to be installed on them.
