Ok, I'll look some more, in the mean time, start looking at all of kur4o's posts in the last month or so and see if you can find where he describes disabling VTD or Vehicle Theft Deterrent or VATS or Vehicle Anti Theft System in Universal Patcher.

I thought it was in response to your issue ... I may be wrong about that.

That is not kur4o ... Beside that has to do with DTC's.

Try this, I have no other ideas ... Unfortunately I don't think it will work.

What I have done is,
Zeroed VTD Auto Learn timer and VTD Auto Learn Counter, and I'm pretty sure that's not the right thing to do, but it won't hurt to try, you can always write the original bin back.

Those 4 are the only VTD/VATS settings I can find in UP, I'm done!

I did the same thing as Gampy except I turned off the only 2 theft DTC's that I can find..

per that old post viewtopic.php?f=26&t=7627&p=112670&hili ... ng#p112670
DWS stated "Yay, success, the DTC's weren't updated which caused the start and die issue even with VATS disabled. "

Kurdo did mention the DTC's would have to be turned off a few posts above that.

Someone can check my work but I think it's the exact same as Gampy's latest one except those 2 theft dtc's are disabled..

Well thank you for trying, this time it said codes didnt clear in the pcm but did in all modules. It was the only one with an x. I'm gonna go in with my scanner and clear the codes and see if that helps.

Edit; Found them ... Thank you!

Ironduke, where are the DTC's in UP ??

Now I see kur4o's message, thank you!

Here now use this one ... It doesn't have the unnecessary changes both ironduke and I did.

All it has is exactly what kur4o stated,
VTD present on car - removed check mark
VTD injector disable time - set to Zero
Disable DTC P1626
Disable DTC P1631
Obviously report back so everyone knows the correct way or not!

Thank you!
