Thanks antus, to you and everyone else that's put your time and effort into making this possible
I know the programing and writing code is a huge job, plus the time testing ect
I wish I had the knowledge to give back and be able to write code for the xdfs ect for all the most common os but it's far beyond me to say the least
I'm just starting out and only really need to make a few changes here and there and work with a tune that I have
I'm just not sure if I'm going to keep running into problems running a custom os no matter what xdf and adx I use
Or if it's worthwhile trying to merge tables ect into a more supported os and how to even go about it
Just trying to get my head around what I need to do

you might be better off swapping to 12225074 from the VY and see if you can get it running properly for that as a starting point, or at least see what you need to do for PPK. You'll be able to find and compare more bins to learn what you need to change and observe the results on your car. Then, once you have more knowledge about what changes you need and what the expected results are move back to your COS and if the results are different you know you have a problem with your XDF. If you have the same problem on 12225074 then you might be takeing the wrong approach or wrong changes.

I'm guessing your running a t56 manual.
If so these are the settings on a 2002 Maloo Ute with 3.73 diff.
There's more than one setting that needs to be changed for a diff ratio change, trans output shaft being one of them.

Antus, the problem is my car is setup up for maffless
If that's what you ment
Use a stock os and start with that

Ken, no mate I'm using a 4l60e

So i ended up changing to speedo with the software from taz I think it is
125ppk = 1kmh
So i did 125 x the 11kmh it was out
Added 1375 to the dash ppk and it was bang on

I'm just wondering if I change the ppk in the pcm and than play with the trans shaft output if that's going to do anything

When using the speedo calc in efilive, the trans output shaft settings is one of the changes it re-calcs when just changing the diff from 3.07 to 3.73.
Tyre size will come into it a little as well. Pic below is what it calc'd leaving the tyre sizes as factory.

The factory OS will run mafless, it'll throw an error for the MAF which you can configure DTC to not set the CEL and it'll run. There are some other advantages to the COS, but for testing PPK you'd be able to run the car OK.

Pretty sure it is changeable via tune. Can’t remember exactly how I use to do it. But I’ve got a hsv tune with that ratio if needed
