nothing has worked yet, naybe a faulty adapter ?

maybe, or just making bad connections in it. some work better than others. I don't bother with this type of chip.
its also possible that the chip was overheated when it was removed from the pcm and one of the interconnects has fallen off inside the chip package in which case its now a broken chip. but there is no way to tell from the outside.

i lifted the chip up a little on one side so it was sitting a little up on one side and i was able to burn 3 chips, can't do anymore for some reason so i need a better adapter
