You will need to locate the physical chip that contains flash. If it is built in, in the main cpu, check in service manual if it is one time burn or can be erased and programmed, mode A5 doesn`t give much info, does it have mode 36 80 ,upload and execute.
Another question is, is the module vpw or can, or both. MOde a5 is usually used in CAN protocol, and not used at all in VPW.
