also dont forget to get the new A5 ADX for the new VT-VY Supercharged 1.1 Bins, the CALC has not been included, you will need to put in your own calc for A5 or B10 for the device you are using. Please let us know if you would like instructions for updating the adx calc.

Just checking with this, in the before picture it shows knock active loops green on zero, then after shows knock active loops 115 in aqua, doesn't that mean its actually going to pull timing as you can see a few steps increasing?

Sorry if it sounds lame & I'm wrong!!!

EDIT: just noticed too in the adx it has equation for AFR of X*.1 & xdl says its commanded 12.5, yet in the xdf it has equation of 1638.4/X & is actually supposed to be commanding 12.23?
Which is wrong/right?

Im using the updated na vs v6 enhanced bin and running the wideband input to pin a5 but it doesnt seem to be working... Ive changed the pin a5 settings to be the same as the old adx that used b12 as the wideband input and Ive also changed the history table for WB AFR Vs CYLAIR & RPM to output data from pin a5.

No luck any help would be great!

Cheers

that is because A5 & B10 have 0-255 count range instead of 0-50 for B12, so you will need to change your calc for 255, see below in green.

Innovate
(((22.39-7.35)/255)*x)+7.35
14point7
((20.00-10.00)/255*x)+10.00

The first one was before knock active loops code was used so playing it back it is not in the datastream.

The knock active loops can begin at any number when starting the engine, obviously knock maybe triggered while cranking or first firing up, what you are looking for is an increment in the number, which means the knock code has run.

By Default if 3 loops of the knock code are run, shown by the number incrementing by 3 in the logs, then timing will be taken out once ignore time or addon time has runout.

So by monitoring knock active loops in the logs you can tune before knock retard even occurs, you can also see obvious outside noise interference causing the code to run, this is where tuning ignoretime is handy as it will be obvious there is no knock, see example in that previous post.

Calcs are right, do you have any modifiers in place? like change Vs Time or Trims Vs RPM or TPS?

Have checked on the bench and with no modifiers it matches.

That makes sense with the knock active loops now it just had me wondering why you had an example of 1 with flatline, hopefully with some testing I'm doing ATM I might have better examples if I iron out other stuff!

ALL the modifiers are set to 1 for the PE so definitely nothing else can come into play as I always make sure before going on the dyno!
I have a feeling the coding has changed & sending random stuff so hopefully I can get this sorted & will be o.k.
