Re: Programmable Delco Ignition Module
assuming the ecm he is using on the race car has the same requirements as a delco (the 4 wires from coil packs to the ecm) then it should function the same.
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: Programmable Delco Ignition Module
Most aftermarket systems can run multiple coils. Depending on the system, might be able to do away with the factory ign module and have the ECU manage the crank trigger.
Re: Programmable Delco Ignition Module
Yeah I said Wolf probably do one but he is "just looking for options" he thinks he is running out of spark energy over 8000 rpm the factory ign module and wasted spark

Re: Programmable Delco Ignition Module
Should be able to set the wolf up so it uses the 3x trigger and the cam trigger running ref/sync mode. Can get rid of the factory module that way. Providing the wolf handles dwell overlap run it in wasted spark with some better coils and ignitors to get more spark than you have now.
If not then this module could replace the factory module, allowing ls1 or ls2 coils with dwell overlap.

VL400,
Any progress on this that is relatable to the LT-5 ignition module?

Re: Programmable Delco Ignition Module
Only what was posted earlier regarding the dwell control mode, it can be configured to be independent of the ECU which is what an LT5 requires.
I need to add the extra tooth trigger mode still.

Re: Programmable Delco Ignition Module
Is your post suggesting we could give the module a go w the LT-5? What else could I assist u with?

I would be keen on one one of these. Can you send me some details please vl400?
Re: Programmable Delco Ignition Module
Any further indication when these will be available to the public and a price?

Re: Programmable Delco Ignition Module
Been slow progress on these again, so no I dont have any further info for a release etc.
If you want one as a beta test PM with what engine and trigger type you want to use and can prob work something out.
