If you get that speed idling i suggest you take it to the salt flats before accelerating lol

I have no idea what your using adx scannerpro or tunerpro etc not that i have a clue anyway :wtf:
but it might help others help with the problem.
I loaded up tp5 with the VS $51E TP5 ADX, Engine and Trans adx i assume is the one you have been using really odd looking everything is all over the place negative mat and and coolant temps etc you sure it's not an echo issue i had similar weird readings when i first tried scannerpro my wideband was my tps etc.
try up the top of tp5 edit adx and ticking rs232 echo i think that was what the problem was worth a try anyway.

Found it!! and rs232 checked...will try again and see what happens.....thankyou :D

You are a genius Dec_head!! :punk: .....retested and worked fine...I have spent days crawling all over the net trying to solve the problem without success before biting the bullet, recording it and getting advice from board members...

situation....tp5, vs v6 engine/trans adx, cold start, idle, short drive around block......ambient air temp 17c, humidity 48%....

Just helping as others have done for me on here.
I have never had anything to do with the vs but i notice you have two 02 sensors and quite a variant between the readings as it warms up seems odd to me .
And the afr goes up as high as 16 is that normal.

well after working out what a 7z file is i finally got looking at the log :wall:

definately an issue with o2 sensor there .... one of them looks to be working ok but the other one is pretty much limp.

BUT .... there is an article i found once before on the net about a dodgy earth issue on ecotecs .... it may be worth doing that before replacing sesnors.

also you want to go for a good long drive some time and log it to see what its doing once the car is fully warmed up.

im not sure about the 16's being commanded, they seem to be under acceleration .... especially being cold i wouldn't have expected to see any 16's .....

i can't find the article, but i've done it to my car, basically the earths for the o2's and the main pcm or something all get joined together and then put to an earth in the cabin .... let me know if you want to do it and i'll have a look at the wires on my car.

only difference to that one with what i did was i went further back up the loom a few more inches and stripped more plastic back and joined them all together and then added the earth lug to them and then taped it all up and other than the earth lug coming out you'd never know!
