I think that might be what happened as it was on the passenger floor all pulled apart but it's all good now, burnt a new bin onto it and is working fine again

make sure its all bolted in its case one person has allready had smoke escape from the solder joints hitting the ecu case from it not being assembled and it killed it real good has never gone again even after being swapped into a new ecu

I think the lesson is don't leave stuff lying around
I have it all bolted back in place now so it can't happen again, well I hope not.
