Lol got to love the old caps of the day. Don't close properly and leak oil every where.

Most of the aftermarket rocker covers use that style cap. Had been looking at various covers for the v6 that are taller from yt roller rockers. Out of several brands of covers only one used oem baynet o ringed oem cap. And used oring gasket to boot. Not shitty regular leak makers.

Looked quite taily at the top end mate, how was it to steer? :driving:

Watching the onboard vid on YT I'd have to say good luck reading what the wideband is doing. The only info I got was the fact it was 'on'. :(

yeah i had a lot of traction issues this weekend compared to before, i think im starting to get to the limit of the tracks grip!

this would be the in car you mentioned! this was first round eliminations, this bloke as you can see at the end backed off so he wouldn't break out, then got back on it when he saw me coming, he was ahead of me by .005 at the finish line!

Sounds like a fun weekend was had by all, nice results on the times too  Need to get it to WSID on a prepped track to see what it can do. I wish I could have the same logger problems as you though, might be able to fix some of these obscure bugs!!

Yeah for sure, looked like a handful on the 2-3 shift.

yeah certainly was a good time and yeah certainly having a lot more traction issues he he :) and the logger ... not sure, wondering if its something im doing like turning it off at the wrong time or something like that.

but appears that once I re-flash the firmware it works ok.

in other news I've dropped my converter off to be tightened up, and I've also purchased a set of 220lb injectors.....

and once I finally get around to finishing all the sub 11 sec andra requirements I will go back to WSID :)

yeah I know lol .... fire hose nozzles ?

with the 850cc's and rough calcs on how much richer I was fudging it with 80lb plus fuel rail pressure and such it looks like I need just to get it not lean about 1105cc .... so figured I'd make sure I never need to buy bigger again .... and after speaking with Jayme he knows a guy running them with E85 in a streeter so if they are suitable for that then they'll be fine for methanol I reckon!
