Another 1ml and those things would hydraulic ! Now I understand when they say that and also the magnetos are basically arc welders they are unbelievable, you'd think the car manufacturers would invest in them, if the get any sort of longevity in those motors it'd be massive in the everydayers ! Oops that's right they don't want new cars too last

Re: My Delcoed Rides
according to what I read they use about the same amount of fuel as a fully loaded 747 and make 25% more power. So they are actually more efficient than a plane lol.

Bet ya it would use more fuel if it was moving the same weight as the plane!

Re: My Delcoed Rides
true, but fan/jet and prop propulsion is grossly inefficient and top fuel cars are a good example to compare to as they are probably the world least efficient vehicle after rockets.Holden202T wrote:Bet ya it would use more fuel if it was moving the same weight as the plane!

Re: My Delcoed Rides
magnetos are great for creating a spark but would play havoc with other electrical systems in the cars, they create a lot of electrical noise.HQ355 wrote:Another 1ml and those things would hydraulic ! It is very true though that we live in a throw away society, nothing is made to last anymore
