great tip I see what you mean'quipt4it wrote:That would mean when you install the new bush, you would set it up sitting proud of the recess compared to the old bush by 6.4mm.
You will still have 19mm of the new bush inside the crankshaft...
Don't be tempted to drive it in further, as I believe there is still room in the crankshaft to do so.

I'm not sure what the diff ratio is. It was factory 253 V8 auto. It's ratio is stamped into the diff some where from memory?
