Has anybody had any issues getting the display to work? I have 3 displays here that I can only get to display in passive mode with the comms board running and tunerpro open on the laptop. I've tried on 3 different vehicles/ecu/memcal/nvram/12p/11p with no luck. I have been messaging with bennvenn all day trying and checking but still haven't found a resolution.

OK so there is a problem with the latest batch of PCB's (what was shipped in the last few weeks was a mix of old and new batch so not all lcd's will be affected - only PCB's with this version number written on them "W16969ASK711"

If you want to return them, please pm or email me and i'll get you a pre-paid label to get them back here for a full refund.

If you're ok updating the firmware (copy it onto the SD and power the lcd up, it'll auto update firmaware), and soldering a small wire, see this video for details: https://youtu.be/s0WWgSSWejY

160baud modes are not affected, only high speed comms.

A friend is keen to have a go at the 12s for $2000 Street machine/carnage challenge coming up in the new year. I will be delco converting his rb30. A low buck 2 step using the 808 and aldl display IO would be handy.
I have not had any experience with 2 steps but am keen to give it a try. If anyone else has any experience or ideas and wants to work together feel free to post up.

Is the converter stall RPM high enough to get the turbo on boost?

There is a modified trimatic with high stall there to go in it. The turbo is sized to be responsive. The guess is that it should build boost on the converter. I'll be doing the delco conversion in the next couple of weeks then trans swap and other mods can be done as well as some testing.
