shame about the hose blowing off, would have been interested to see what it did full track!!

I've been running the cable ties over every vacuum hose since I went boost, call me paranoid!

did it make it to half track before it blew ? got any 60 foot or 1/8th times ?

also just check everything carefully when you pull it down, when my brothers car did the same thing it blew the gasket out but also cracked the top of the piston down to the last ring groove, and you couldn't really see it while the piston was in the bore, but was VERY obvious once it came out!

just for shits and giggles I printed your log pic and extended the map lines up till they met, it looks like at least 3 of them probably went to the 30 mark or more

so it didn't stand a chance with that much boost and no fuel!

hard to say for sure but one point may have been 320-330kpa .... that is assuming the same scale from 100-200kpa on that graph and also assuming it continues to climb at the same rate!

I wonder if the boost being so high with so much airflow helped save the engine. The AFR was probably so lean it was near impossible to ignite?

But either way, good time to get some upgrades on to the motor that just wont die! Maybe you guys need to offer some assistance to Renault.
